TEMPACHECK
Irreversible thermometers that measure the water temperature
of the pre and full wash cycles in automated instrument washers.
Water temperature has a crucial impact upon the effectiveness of each wash cycle.
The warmer the water the more effective the cleaning action, with higher temperatures also providing a key source of thermal disinfection. However, it is equally important to ensure that each stage of the wash process does not exceed in temperature as excessive temperatures can lead to blood and particulate contamination becoming baked onto instrument surfaces.
The TempaChek 90 (blue) is a single use irreversible thermometer designed to monitor and display temperatures reached within the washer during the cold water rinse (pre-wash) stage.
The TempaChek 170 (red) is a single use irreversible thermometer designed to monitor and display maximum temperatures reached during the hottest part of the wash (the thermal disinfection stage).
